Project Management
The SKILLSEA management is assured by the Project Coordinator, the Project Board and the Project Management Secretariat. It is also supported by an Advisory Board. The project coordinator is STC-Group.
Project Board and Advisory Board
The Project Board (PB) consists of ECSA, ETF and STC who is responsible for the operational management (decision process, assessment, information flow).
The Project Board is supported by the Advisory Board (AB) responsible for the strategic guidance of the project’s technical actions and recommendations. It consists of high-level representatives of the maritime shipping sector, Member States, MET’s and Maritime Clusters. The Advisory Board will usually meet once a year to review the main results and roadmap reports proposed by the Project Management Secretariat.
Project Management Secretariat (PMS)
The Project management secretariat (PMS): is responsible for the day-to-day administrative and technical management of the SKILLSEA project. It carries out the actions delegated to it by the PB and the Project Coordinator. The PMS consists of representatives of the WP leaders.
Work package leaders
The SKILLSEA consists of 6 work packages. Each WP is under the lead of the Work package leader. The Work Package Leader (WPL) is a designated partner of a Work Package who is responsible for the overall performance of the specific Work Package. The WPL is in charge of the organization and contributions of his/her Work Package Team (constituted by the WP Leader and the members of the designated partners with expertise based on the requirements of each work package).
