On September 28th SkillSea had the opportunity to be presented, through our Italian partner, ForMare, to Sea Future 2021 Exhibition & Business Convention in La Spezia Naval Base, Italy.
Lidia Rossi, EU Project Manager at ForMare, presented SkillSea project in the framework of the panel: WESTMED network of maritime clusters towards innovation through 2021-2027 EU funded programme.
The speech focused on the structure of the project and on the results obtained from the various WPs so far. The participation to the event has been a remarkable occasion to raise awareness on the importance of the project for the maritime transport sector during an international event where, also Representatives of Erasmus+, HORIZON EUROPE, INTERREG MED, ERDF have participated as speakers to present the New funding programmes 2021-2027.
We had the chance to present SkillSea at the presence of important representatives of the maritime cluster, including competent authorities, the Italian Navy, the European Commission (DG MARE), shipping companies, Research Institutes, Universities and many other stakeholders of the sector.
