Work Package 3 – STRATEGY
In brief
The goal of the work package 3 is to develop a pan-European strategy on future skills for the Maritime Shipping sector. The WP3 will set-up the framework of the strategic plan for the development of the Skills strategy. The WP3 will explore public available statistics, research data and information obtained from the partnership and external institutions and stakeholders in order to develop Strategies for maritime professionals, MET and future anticipation of skills needs for maritime labour market. The entire process will be facilitated by an online platform of cooperation that will function as viable knowledge-sharing tool for actors, stakeholders and end-users. The strategy will contribute to the skills that are expected to have a significant impact on innovativeness, competitiveness and growth of the EU economy and the Maritime Shipping industry by focussing on the current and future trends on sector’s skills in order to meet current and future challenges.
